ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — An Irish film and television production company has bought the rights to a novel by Newfoundland author Megan Gail Coles. The television and film rights to Coles' novel Small Game Hunting at the Local Coward Gun Club have been picked up by the JDB Film Company, with Coles to serve as executive producer of any adaptation.The novel is a No. 1 national bestseller and shortlisted for Canada Reads the 2019 Scotiabank Giller Prize.
