An employee at a Virginia Walmart where six of her coworkers were killed said she filed a written complaint to the company of the suspected gunman’s “bizarre” behavior months before the shooting, according to a Tuesday filing in Chesapeake circuit court. The filing alleges that Walmart management knew of suspected gunman Andre Bing’s behavior and threats before the mass shooting, “but kept employing him anyway.
“As workplace shootings and violence become horrifyingly common, employers have a responsibility to understand the warning signs and take threats seriously in order to protect their employees and customers. Walmart spokesperson Randy Hargrove said the “Walmart family is heartbroken.” “Our deepest sympathies go out to our associates and everyone impacted, including those who were injured. We are focused on supporting all our associates with significant resources, including counseling,” he said.
Good. And then the families of the 6 victims should sue Walmart for everything. It’s 2022, there are warning signs for this kind of behavior. It’s time we make someone responsible for ignoring them. Shame on that company for not steeping earlier when they should have.
He must be hold responsible for the shooting by laws
Damn. I know many situations where people knew but did nothing. Sad
Yeah cause Walmart already knows that shits gonna happen!
There will be more lawsuits: “I was scheduled to work that day but I quit an hour before shift. That could have been me!” Statement in a $100m lawsuit.
All about getting paid. Nothing more
Show me a Walmart employee who ISN’T disgruntled over some perceived wrong done to him or her.
Really big of y'all to steal videos from people...
