Twitter employees on Monday discovered some offices and conference rooms in the company's headquarters had bare mattresses and curtains inside, two anonymous people with knowledge of the matter, told the publication. One room also featured a plant, they added.
It was unclear how many bedrooms there were in total, the publication reported, but one person with knowledge of the matter said there could be between four and eight bedrooms per floor. The person added the rooms looked"comfortable." Twitter failed to announce or explain the reasons behind the new office bedrooms to employees, one person familiar with the situation told Forbes. They assumed the beds were intended for staff working"" to use when they work overnight at the office as part of Musk's"Twitter 2.0," per Forbes.
