Investing Club: Here's where we stand after this week's big back-to-back market declines

The stock market is having another nasty down session Tuesday on concerns the Federal Reserve might increase interest rates for a longer period of time to a higher level and whether that would tip the economy into a recession. The central bank, according to The Wall Street Journal , is considering hiking rates above 5% next year to fight inflation — particularly elevated wage inflation as seen in the government's November employment report last week.
