A 10-story office tower along the Dallas North Tollway has changed hands despite headwinds in the commercial real estate industry.

Taiwanese investment firm Fidelity Commercial has sold Wellington Centre at 14643 North Dallas Parkway to Maryland-based Pratt Street Capital, according to Newmark. It is just north of Galleria Dallas. The deal closed Friday.

The company plans to upgrade lobbies and add new amenities to the building, said Pratt Street’s head of acquisitions, David Braunstein. Newmark’s Gary Carr, Chris Murphy, Robert Hill and Chase Tagen represented the seller. The deal was financed with a $28 million loan, according to county records.
