This holiday season, McDougall Energy Inc., based in Sault Ste. Marie, has donated $50,000 to a number of charities and organizations across the province.
Donation recipients include Blind River and Area Christmas Baskets, Sault Ste. In speaking with the charities, it has been repeatedly expressed that the demand for support services has increased year over year, making donations by community sponsors that much more important to help meet the needs of these programs and clients. As prices continue to rise and expenses heighten in the winter months, programs that support individuals with food insecurities are essential to alleviate financial stress this time of year.
