An online company named San Antonio as the least walkable major U.S. city.

Jamie Massey, director of training at Guide Dogs of Texas on San Antonio's North Side, watches as guide-dog in training named Ike stops at an obstacle - a water puddle and broken sidewalk, which are numerous in the city. San Antonio was recently named the least-walkable major U.S. city by Walk Score., is the least walkable major city in America, according to an analysis released earlier this year.

San Antonio's low overall score is of no surprise to Ian Caine, an associate professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio and director of the school's Center for Urban and Regional Planning Research. Caine said"2,000 miles of sidewalks are either missing or broken" in the city. There are, however, parts of the city that are walkable. Downtown, for example, has a walkability score of 82.
