That's about as speculative a comment as is imaginable. Now if he had said 42.6%, I would understand.

Same prediction on the weather from our local weather guy: it may rain or it may not - it just depends on the weather.

And there's a 50% chance the world will end, and a 50% chance it won't. Who pays you guys, they'er wasting money.

So either 'yes' or 'no'. A 50/50 chance. Not sure who got paid 7 figures to come up with that projection, but the tic-tac-toe chicken could have made the same prediction and would have been spot on.
