The man was conscious and trying to walk right after being taken out of the machinery, but soon after lost consciousness, according to the York County Coroner's Office.

Witnesses told investigators that the employee was first seen inside a bean hopper at 2:40 a.m., at the Penn Township facility, the coroner’s office said. At that point, the other employees did not know how long it had been since the man had fallen into the machinery.
