It's time has come.

Great idea long time coming

Apprenticeships were very prevalent in the U.S. before everyone had to get a 4 year degree. If leaders have lost sight of that, it's because they don't appreciate history. No need to reinvent the wheel.

Apprenticeships teach things needed in the field. Too many colleges teach useless information. We have been turning into a society of educated idiots and some colleges are actually creating adulting classes to teach students about life after college.

What? Starbucks going to run out of doctoral candidate baristas!

College should be two years. Eliminate the useless core curriculum courses. All majors should be in an employable skill. So no Art History and the like. Make those two changes and college will become more affordable and practical.
