A commercial real estate expert started a new company that aims to fill business development and networking needs for subcontractors and service providers across the Valley.
"I felt like there was a need in the industry, there was an underserved population of companies, primarily subcontractors, that leadership knew they needed to do more business development, it was always lingering in the back of their minds, but to fully invest in a full-time director of business development was perhaps too risky or costly," Wells told the Business Journal.
Wells said CCS was the first professional company she worked for after graduating from Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business in 2012. While there, she worked in various sales roles such as corporate sales manager, corporate relationship manager and account manager. "It's something I've thought about since I was very little," she said."I was just waiting for the right idea that was a good fit for me. When I spent the last three years or so diving into business development and truly understanding how fulfilling it was, it seemed like a match that I couldn't pass up.
Wells said she also has strong relationships with commercial real estate brokers, architects, general contractors and project managers that are in need of subcontractor relationships and can also help connect them with companies.
