Concur w/ much of BrittainLadd’s opinion of Amazon’s Whole Foods EXCEPT eliminating cashiers: NO. Many reasons shoppers prefer a human to check out. I ❤️ QUICK CHECKOUT when rushing w/ few items BUT think elderly handicap newborn Moms full🛒(s) & human cashier preference. WSJ

While YuliApp rises

Considering the outrageous mark up on food at Whole Foods, something does not add up here. Who are you trying to fool? Surely not the employees whose compensation is marginal compared to Bezo’s draw!!!

But Bezos is still the richest right? 113 billion dollars is no laughing matter!

I don’t buy this for a second!

That’s because Whole Foods is a damn ripoff

Amazon should NEVER have any control over our food supplies above all else in the world. What if they go out of business or screw something up? Or decide to go all anarchist on us? Farmers should be the only pple on this planet who have any control over our food supply.

Amazon reportedly to expand Whole Foods storesAmazon.com is planning to expand its Whole Foods Market portfolio by adding more stores to put more customers within its two-hour delivery service range, The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday, citing sources. This will be a folly disaster. The problem with their 'two hour delivery' is that you have no control over the expiration date on fresh foods. Many times at WFM I have to reach into the back of the shelf to get fresh produce, meat and dairy products that are not already expired or close to expiring.
