Senior Legal Analyst Advocate Romeo Nthambeleni, says President Cyril Ramaphosa’s willingness to comply with the law by appearing in court will prove that he’s not above the law or seeking special treatment from the justice system. This is with regards to a matter concerning former President Jacob Zuma’s allegation that Ramaphosa failed to act on his plea that he address improper conduct on National Prosecuting Authority Advocate Billy Downer and News24 journalist Karyn Maughan for allegedly leaking and publishing his medical records last year.

Nthambeleni says, ”As he has said, he is willing to comply with the law, its best that he attends that so that the court can actually ventilate it and throw the matter out properly so that he shows that he wants to comply with the law. The argument being brought here is to say that he doesn’t want to comply with the law which is not the case.

Zuma does not want Adv Downer to prosecute him. He is a coward

Was he willing? 😂

Why dont you just exit that office sir,

Need all the honest people we can get...

It’s such a disgrace to hear & see our SA president aft president having criminal accusations aft another. Why not bn suspended pending investigations lk any other employee?why?

Why s it taking him so long since last yr bf he appears then?

Where do they get these analysts kodwa bakithi?

Ramaphosa? Never!

Can this Legal Analyst explain to us how does the certificate relate to the charge against Ramaphosa. The certificate was issued for sharing of medical records as an offence but Ramaphosa’s offence is accessory after the facts which was never brought before NPA for prosecution.

He tried as he has always been, this time around he has no choice,he is forced to appear,he thinks he is the law

Useless ramaphosa

Amasimba nje lawo enisitshela wona

Advocate Romeo Nthambeleni sounds gullible for CyrilRamaphosa never wanted to appear in court before. Cyril thinks that his appearance in court will be challenging his human dignity. Cyril thinks he is ZA's currency and economy that if he's prosecuted economy will be affected

SRampora But people just don’t appear in courts even if they have nothing to do with the cases accused of

It's not about being 'above the law'. If the law does not require him to be in court, then why must he appear? Should he go and sit in court every day even if he is not required to be there?

The so called analysts & clever blacks were played by whites (media) that believing that Zuma is a bad president & Cyril is good & fought for that propaganda, whites didn't have it easy with Zuma and blacks didn't struggle, now it's visa versa & still they support their doom!!!

That will never happen!!!

Appear in court for a flimsy charge.
