Airline to honour fares slashed in error

If only VirginAustralia had the same concept of customer service. They cancelled ours losing about $800 not $15,000.... That cancellation COST the consumer money...ridiculous

Good to see them doing the right thing. You can't buy good publicity, nor a good reputation and the boost cathaypacific will get from this will far outweigh any losses.

Can they please make a mistake when I go to book my flights to NZ?

$16,000? I'd want to keep the plane if I paid that much for a ticket. $675 is probably the true worth of the ticket. Most likely still makes a huge profit.

And now the rest of us are royally p off as missing out. Thanks again BBC for tying new year 🤪
