Calgary's building industry receives nods to national housing awards yyc

He said the association received 800 entries with 150 industry experts judging entries by images, floor and site plans and project descriptions. The CHBA chose 55 finalists from Calgary and area to compete in six categories with multiple awards in each. Calgary companies received 19 nominations in New Home categories, 18 in Renovations, nine in Marketing, four each in New Home Spaces and Community Development and one in Net Zero Homes.

Ultimate Renovations has nine nominations in six of the nine Renovation Award categories, including three for Best Exterior Renovation, two for Best Whole Home Renovation $200,000 to $300,000 and one for Best Whole Home Renovation $500,001 to $800,000. It has another two for kitchen renos and one for a bathroom makeover. Rusch Design Build, Turn Key Homes and Renovations, Van Manna Homes, Reborn Renovations, Ashton Luxury Living and Sunset Homes are also finalists in this category.
