Hufford, an addiction researcher who then worked in the pharmaceutical industry to take products from prescription to OTC, called each company to offer consulting support. “The companies told me that they had no intention to do this,” he told me. That’s why he co-founded HRT as a nonprofit to manufacture naloxone. The other companies had already completed their clinical trials for the drug, but HRT had to start from scratch. It acquired and ran a clinical trial for a new intranasal formulation of naloxone. Then, it conducted a study to make sure consumers could use the product based on simple instructions. Finally, in October 2022, they finished submitting their application to the FDA.

And that’s not for lack of trying on the FDA’s part. As HRT conducted its trials, the agency continued to urge the other companies to apply for OTC status. It even took the unprecedented step of creating a

Could just do the proper thing, and decriminalize things, and watch it slowly fade away. I personally support recreational drug use, when done responsibly. But, when you draw a line, and tell people they 'can't' do something because you disagree with it, you just created a war.

So the rest of us who aren't drug addicts could get something besides ibuprofen. I have deformed feet. I asked my VA podiatrist for a cane to use to get around my apt. after my restaurant job because my feet hurt so bad. Quacks

Now why would any drug addict go get this drug? A pharma can release it, but why put yourself in the spotlight of the ATF? Mucinex D and that OTC ending hysteria.

Really. Over the counter like Mucinex D was? Now sole only with a valid ID, and registration on the State drug law book? If the govt. wants to track allergy meds., guess what they would want for this med. Every piece of personal data they can.
