Authorities said the explosion happened around 12:30 p.m. at Nexus Integrity Management, which offers pipeline integrity services. The company is located near Texas 85 and FM 1582. Pearsall is about 55 miles southwest of San Antonio.In a news release on Wednesday, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration said it is investigating the incident. The agency said it could take up to six months to conclude its investigation.
"Our thoughts are with the workers' family and friends during this difficult time," OSHA said in a statement. Rodriguez said the incident was reported to OSHA on Tuesday evening.
