In a tweet on Sunday, Feb. 5, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto shared the results of the local government’s business transaction report as of Jan. 31.There was a 3,000 increase in renewal transactions, with 21,523 in 2023 compared to 18,523 in 2022.
A huge increase of up to 15,692.27 percent was seen in the local government’s capital investment report in 2023 as of Jan. 31. The total capital investment was P134,297,500.00 in 2022, and P21,208,621,032.95 in 2023.The local government set up a Business One Stop Shop site at the Pasig Sports Center, aside from the BOSS sites at the Ayala 30th and Manggahan Annex to fully accommodate all business owners for the season.last Jan. 24.
It also offered a five percent discount for those who paid their annual business taxes until Jan. 20, referencing the Revised 2017 Pasig Revenue Code.In the same post, Sotto also shared the Instagram story of Atty. Diego Santiago from the Office of the City Administrator and the Local Economic Development and Investment Office who was involved in the planning and organization of the BOSS.
