More than 5,000 credentialed media are in town for the Super Bowl and Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said she is planning on talking with several reporters. superbowl

, the CEO and owner of the Arizona Cardinals, will be busy this week using the Super Bowl as an opportunity to team up and together attract business leaders to move their companies’ operations to the state.

Hobbs, Bidwill, the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Super Bowl Host Committee are putting on a visiting CEO program with leaders from 70 different companies coming to town this week to attend the game and WM Phoenix Open. The CEOs will be pitched on the many reasons they should relocate or expand their existing operations to the Grand Canyon State.

The city of Phoenix is working directly with the ACA and the Host Committee, as well as the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, to attract more investment into the city. Phoenix Mayorsaid that the city is working with these other organizations to tell the story of the area for the 2023 Super Bowl better than it did in 2015.

“We are trying to be really targeted about markets where we think they are most likely to invest,” Gallego said. “We are really going to focus on the semiconductor story of Phoenix and some of our leadership in sustainability.”
