Medibank and ahm health insurance premiums were set to rise by an average of 2.96 per cent from 1 April 2023, but the hike will be postponed to June 1, 2023. The industry-wide annual private health insurance premium increase was set to kick in from 1 April, after approval from Australia's Federal Health Minister Mark Butler and the Department of Health and Aged Care.
