A Twitter engineer who got fired in Elon Musk's mass layoffs last year said it took him at least 20 interviews to find a new job. that the process"happened in such a confusing way and was a very big setback for me." However, he added:"After a few days I chose to channel my frustration into looking for another position."
Glose, who started working for Twitter in San Francisco in 2019, said on LinkedIn that he's"interviewed at over 20 companies" and"it was the hardest I've worked since I was in the Army." Despite"companies ghosting me to layoffs occurring mid-process" he said he"knew I would eventually find something if I continued focusing on my goals."
Glose has found a new job at fitness company Peloton, where he is also a senior Android engineer."There are so many things about this company that remind me about why I joined Twitter," he wrote. "I'm very excited about learning new areas of my field and channeling my passion for fitness into my job," Glose concluded.
