The face off between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, a nail biter in which the latter team emerged victorious after a game defining play late in the fourth quarter, averaged 113 million viewers across Fox’s television and digital properties, according to early data from Nielsen. That makes Super Bowl LVII the third most-watched television program of all-time. And it represents the best audience for the big game in six years, topping 2022’s showdown, which averaged 112.
As expected, the biggest viewing audiences for the game were in Kansas City and Philadelphia, followed by Cincinnati, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Norfolk, Charlotte, Minneapolis, and St. Louis — all of which had ratings shares over 70. The numbers underscore yet again that while linear television might be in decline, live sports still command extraordinary audiences. That said, it is worth noting that the decline of linear is present in the viewership data.
The game kept waiting for a win and not wanting it to end people on their seats.
But… but…I thought the NFL was going to “go broke for being woke.” All the white conservatives were never going to watch anymore. That’s what TuckerIngerHannity told us.
How?
NBC & CNN woke networks ate jealous, very jealous
We were only here for Rihanna 😪
Why is CNN giving props to Fox? Are they high? LOL. Go Fox! By the way, why is China treating Biden like their door mat?
Once Trump is back in office, Russia & China will stop treating the United States like we are weak and ignorant. But as long as Biden is President, they have no fear.
I was all into it.
Only 113million 💀💀💀💀 no one cares about the Super Bowl
As well it should have. Great game. Terrible way to end it. But it was a good game overall
