HyRel Technologies, a semiconductor modification and contract manufacturing company, announced Wednesday it began operations at its Peoria plant that spurred creation of 50 new jobs.
“From the Arizona Commerce Authority’s ‘first-of-its-kind’ National Semiconductor Economic Roadmap and dedicated investments to the industry, to the white glove service we’ve received from the city of Peoria in helping find our facility, we are very excited to launch this chapter and draw upon the wealth of expertise in the West Valley area,” Watson said in a statement.Why HyRel chose Peoria
TSMC will produce 4- and 3-nanometer chips at its two north Phoenix fabs, which are both under construction. The nanometer chips are used in smartphones, AI, computers and autonomous vehicles.
