When combined with the 200 new positions announced last June, it will bring to 1,000 the total number of people working for the company across the island of Ireland

The global technology, engineering and consulting service provider is opening a new innovation hub in the city.

The investment is taking place over the next two years with the new roles set to be in the areas of mechanical, electrical and digital engineering, business consulting, software development and testing. The new innovation hub is part of a plan by the firm to establish a network of regional offices around the country, with the first in Mahon in Cork opening last June.

"As Expleo continues to go from strength to strength on the island of Ireland, these hubs will provide us with the talent and momentum we need to deliver on our ambitious growth plans."The company also has offices in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast.
