San Francisco business owner caught on video spraying an unhoused person with a hose is scheduled to face arraignment.

is scheduled to appear in court Friday for an arraignment.

Collier Gwin, the owner of Foster Gwin Gallery, was arrested last month for alleged misdemeanor battery tied to the incident recorded on Jan. 9. The victim did not seek to file charges, but San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said following Gwin's arrest “the alleged battery of an unhoused member of our community is completely unacceptable. Mr. Gwin will face appropriate consequences for his actions.”

The video posted on social media sparked outrage in the community and was enough evidence to charge Gwin, Jenkins said.If convicted, Gwin faces up to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.'s investigation & reviewing all the evidence provided, my office has issued an arrest warrant for Collier Gwin. Gwin is charged w/ misdemeanor battery for the alleged intentional & unlawful spraying of water on & around a woman experiencing homelessness on 1/9/22.

SF is a crime ridden 3rd world cesspool and the DA is wasting tax payer resources on someone who was doing what the city should have done years ago.

This is how business owners should respond to all manner of things. Loitering: hose Taking a shit on the sidewalk: hose Sleeping in the entryway: hose Digging through the dumpster: hose

'Unhoused'. And hosed down, in this case.

Only in the s hole of the Bay Area this would happen. They expect citizens to always take it & submit to crap like this. Don’t you dare defend yourself!
