“If a path is open to you, widen it so that more people can come through,' says the head of United Way of Lancaster. He and Broad Street Market vendor Craig Ward are today's 'trailblazers and trendsetters.'

His story: The Milton Hershey School graduate owns Ward of Health, a holistic plant-based vegan food spot in Harrisburg’s Broad Street Market that offers catering and meal prep services.

When his mother was diagnosed with cancer, Ward was inspired to begin incorporating healthier food habits into his life and his daughter’s. He became a vegan in 2016.“In Harrisburg, especially Midtown, there isn’t a lot of healthier food options from produce and whole foods in general,” he said. “I wanted to provide better options for people who still want tasty food but just healthier options.”
