A new food store will be a 'good fit' next to a popular Nottingham market, according to local residents. The former Murat supermarket in Gedling Street, in Sneinton Market, has been turned into a vegan store, with new branding fitted on the large unit.

People in the area thought the new vegan store would fit seamlessly into the area. Stephen Craighill, 55, who lives in Sneinton and works in the TV industry, said: "It will fit in here, it is good to see so much going on here in [Sneinton Market] after it was closed for so long."It will be a good fit with the atmosphere around here as it is popular with young people and there are lots of students.
