Several advertisements and pages have been spotted on social media that feature former Education minister Dr Maszlee Malik seemingly promoting investment schemes. Are scammers misusing Maszlee's image? Find out below.

In a Facebook post, Maszlee denied any involvement in any of the investment schemes being promoted.

"This is a scam! I found that there are some Facebook pages that sell their products by using my picture without permission," Maszlee wrote in his post. "If you come across any such ads or pages, please report them to Facebook and to me," he urged social media users.
