There's some great stuff come out the last 10-15 years, but placing tech as a foundation when it's really still in the prototype phases and has no field proven reliability is just reckless. And like smart appliances, just because you can doesn't mean you should.

It depends on how the data is processed and used. I would definitely be open to it. I am also convinced that within the next 20 years AI, AR/VR will completely change how we interact with the world. Just how the smartphone changed society when it became mainstream.
Do you mean would I rather have ChatGPT respond when I ask a question? For most things, absolutely (it needs recent info). Would I let it control my home autonomously? Lol no, not yet.
