Drinks giant says it still intends to withdraw from Russia over Ukraine invasion, but has developed new product range selling 72 million litres of beer and soft drinks

Heineken Russia launched an Irish stout last year after Guinness was withdrawn from the country following the invasion of Ukraine.

In March 2022, the Dutch drinks giant said in that it would join other western brands in withdrawing from Russia following the invasion. However, it maintained a local business that has developed products after it withdrew the Heineken, Miller and Guinness brands. The company makes Miller and Guinness in Russia under third party licences.
