“If we don't want T20 to get petrol, diesel and LPG subsidies anymore, the estimated savings are RM15 billion to RM17 billion,” he told Hulu Terengganu MP Datuk Ahmad Amzad Mohamed.Ahmad explained that the mechanism excludes the top 20 per cent of income earners in Malaysia from purchasing cheaper fuel, in particular RON95 grade petrol, diesel, and liquefied petroleum gas .

“Can you imagine how many other things we can use from the RM15 billion to RM17 billion to help the people in various matters and affairs in 26 ministries?” he asked. “Therefore, the government is committed to implementing subsidies with the aim of removing leakages,” he said.

Guna existing rfid system at every petrol pump. Put detector at every petrol pump. Any vehicle above 1,600cc no subsidies, any vehicle bought above 75k no subsidies. Upgrading a petrol pump does not get higher than savings of 17bil. Mau subsidies? pakailah kereta marhain.

Govt should STOP this narrative...focus on improving public transport. How do identify a T20 at petrol station? Petrol card? Car plate no.? Ridiculous! How did he get this figures? ahmadmaslan rafiziramli anwaribrahim

We accepted the higher tax bracket but be fair to us. I worked 18-20 hours a day because I need to make sure by month end my staff will received their salary, all loan repayments is paid, suppliers, contractors, utilities bill , rental all being paid.

Frankly this government is in disillusion. T20 is those who paid the highest taxes. Even if they drive big cars then they paid higher import tax, excise duty, road tax. So now need to pay higher prices compared to those who pay or never pay taxes at all?

1.identify B40/M40 from LHDN & giv petrol card, max RM?/mth to those owning vehilce (JPJ data). those who do not hv tax return need to apply card. they might sell the cards but the amount is limited

How to brand a T20 person when he goes to fill up his petrol. I wonder ? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Delays costing millions daily, be snappy about it.
