In Wednesday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," the "Underage" star said she couldn't bear to see her mother struggle raising her and her brother.
"I understand how hard it was for her kaya I really did my best to enter showbiz kasi I think I have a chance here to help my mother, my brother and my family kasi nakita ko kung paano siya maghirap eh," Lexi told Boy. “Alam mo ‘yung feeling na ayaw mong nakikitang nahihirapan yung nanay mo, ayaw ko ng ganun so parang I wanted na someday, hindi na siya mahihirapan kasi andito ako for her,” she added.“I’m very much in touch with my dad. I love my dad and tanggap ko rin kung ano na ‘yung buhay niya ngayon,” she said.
