Adastra Labs in Langley said it has been granted an amendment to its dealer license to “interact” with up to 250 grams of cocaine , to import coca leaves to manufacture and synthesize the substance. It said it received its approval from Health Canada on Feb. 17.
“We proactively pursued the amendment to our Dealer’s License to include cocaine back in December 2022. The company said it also is allowed to possess, produce, sell and distribute up to 35 ounces of psilocybin and psilocin. On Thursday, Global News asked B.C. Premier David Eby for his thoughts on Health Canada’s decision to make the amendment for the Langley-based lab.“The short answer is that I was astonished by this announcement,” Eby said.
The only way this would make sense is if everyone who uses hard drugs decided to buy government produced narcotics, with a paper trail and with taxes included. Canada
Isnt this from the same folks who said they needed to legalize weed to take the profits away from criminal elements. A few years later the illegal selling of drugs are making more money than before and the govt is losing money selling dope.
Eby should be forced to admit his enforcers aren't 'police,' as defined. Breach of Commissioner's statutes. Admit it.
Omg what is going on inside of peoples heads! He must be on cocaine
Interesting. I wonder how established gangs in the area feel about this?
City Govs could block the sale of this within their community if they wanted. Sheesh. I couldn't even set up a juice stand outside my home on Vancouver w/o proper permits.
