No reason for the share disposal was given to the ASX, although it’s pretty clear Spenceley has had some expenses of late, having personally donated two ambulances to the invaded nation. We called and asked, and it seems some funds secured from the share sale will go to further that effort. Spenceley still holds about 2 million unencumbered shares and is exposed to another 1.7 million under various incentive schemes. Airtasker’s share price has fallen 63 per cent in the past 23 months.
