Didn’t they do this like 6 years ago? It all got reversed! Just stop wasting time and money.

This will do nothing for the average consumer. On the contrary the big 3 will loose revenue on this line of business to increase their rate elsewhere! They have so many options to play with 10% at regulator level is like splitting hair for consumer! Get Starlink for a great cause

Xplornet charges far too much. Please fix this.

Cheaper internet good. Government price caps, not good in long run. Cost will come out elsewhere.

They will find workarounds by the time a new regulation is in place which will endup costing us double.

The same regulator that’s staffed by Rogers and Bell board members?

The Company Starlink, we need it in Canada.

Yeah because their consultations really worked to lower wireless costs. Fucking CRTC works for Rogers and Bell

Having more than three companies might help

Goo start

We should be partnering with Star-Link and dumping all the 'usual players'. They had their chance!

The crtc cannot be trusted. Not one person that is employed there

CRTCeng the only way to have competition is to have competition! Open up the market, if Bell or Rogers think the offer fair value then they have nothing to worry about...right?

Yet another consultation…

Creating competition in the market is a critical task that requires a bold approach. I suggest exploring the European market and Turkiye's successful history of establishing a competitive landscape. Although customer service for MNOs is established, it is seldom encountered.

How about stopping the merger of two of our largest telecom companies. Really hard for some to logically get there I guess!

Good, we've been getting fleeced long enough.

Nationalize the infrastructure, let private companies lease bandwidth for resale.

Lol, really? Oh I don't know, break up monopolies? Or are you paid too much to do that?

You can't boost competition unless two things happen. Companies come in and build their own infrastructure to each and every building, or the government takes over all the infrastructure and sells the bandwidth to all ISP's at the same price. Neither will ever happen.

Given the never-ending stream of Bullshit that comprises the Internet, they should jack-up the prices tenfold, every six months.

A little late. Jettison the CRTC too.

Hasn't this been done before? So how will this help? How will it br better than the last time? Just pointless political posturing.

See told ya. Election coming. Soooooon.
