Philippoussis has been a keen surfer since during his injury-plagued tennis career where he peaked at No. 8 on world rankings, winning career titles, two Davis Cup titles with Australia in 1999 and 2003 and making the finals of the US Open and Wimbledon.“How amazing it’s been to check the waves from your balcony, then simply walk across the road for a surf,” Philippoussis said in a note to his landlord.
