Hulu, watup bighead?

We’re gonna pay for others to watch friends 🙃nice

Yay CAP-it-all ism just kiddims

Oof $24 per year increased cost. What ever will people do?

When they’re making the most money than they ever have? This is why I don’t understand selfish business. Hulu out here charging only 5.99 a month

It's fair. For the price of a movie ticket you get endless content.

When is Disney's Streaming Service starting bouts to drop Netflix

Didn’t they learn lesson the last time they increased price....and EVERYONE dropped Netflix

This is all because they kept fucking FRIENDS...make the people that bitched about that pay!

Netflix entertainment for best watched television for all those who no longer pay for expensive boring ass cable Netflix they're modo 'we fooled you'. cancels most veiwed programs.

*laughs in movie box*

The new Disney channel will topple Netflix. Netflix is like cable 300 channels and nothing is on!

Wow netflix definitely will not subscribe now. I would only pay that much is you saveshadowhunters shadowhuntersseason4

Should have left Daredevil alone!

Percentage makes this sound worse than what it is. They're raising prices by $1-$2

It’s a $2 increase per month, no one cancels.

Hope Netflix enjoys going out of business, that’s exactly where we will see the next major post about them. “New news today, Netflix has sold their industry to Hulu and is now over and done with.”

Time to use another movie channel .

Rnagila I see reference to the US, Latin America, Carribbean & South American Markets. Will the price hike affect the African Market? DiazChrisAfrica

Not right! Greed brings a fall!!!

Netflix? Or Comcast? Wait, is one turning into the other? Same number of letters....

Ya'll need to chill its $2...

Jono_Younes mhanna20 MikaylaHanna we all have to Venmo Jono $2 Netflix priceincrease

I did like a couple of their BBC shows

I may be forced to give up NetFlix

They're sick and tired of us using that free 1 month trial 😆😂😂

Netflix why?

netflix

Also same reason I’m. I longer a McDonald’s breakfast customer. Some prices are just too damn high!

Why I’m no longer a Netflix customer...

if u freaked out over friends, do not complain about the increase.

I find this to be highly offensive content.

And I just switched to streaming on amazon prime...

It’s a bargain if you also still have their DVD plan AND streaming. Most current movies are NOT streaming on their platform but are on their DVDs. In fact, Netflix is getting like Netflix TV 🤷🏾‍♀️

To pay back he Obama's.

But why?

How is this even allowed! If we vote for Bernie Sanders will he roll the price back?

We will have to see after earnings if they are confident in raising prices as demand for their service is so strong or they are raising prices to offset lower subscribed growth.

You mean 'by 13-18 per cent' Eejits

'Where's my 2 dollars?'

They're just forcing me to employ migrant workers

Have to pay them Obama's I guess

Damn last price i paid for netflix was $8 now thats a $5 increase my goodness

Love Netflix got the 4K package 5 folks on my account good content too still cheaper than cable.

ADmomof3 Well that’s the sign of a well run profitable company...🙄

obummer bucks

They have to, a lot of people dumped them.

It's worth it. Satellite radio is more.

Gotta pay that big money to Obama! Enjoy liberals!!!!

AOC Why is this not a National Crisis

Who cares, 12%. Beats Spectrums $80 + for cable. I’m fine.

That’s gonna be devastating for the person whose account I pirate.

Netfilix, HBO and Hulu are simply waste of time to watch .. can’t believe how some people have become addicts . Keep spending your valuable $$ and that’s what the corporations want

Who didn’t see that coming?

NO INFLATION THOUGH, RIGHT federalreserve? Other increases - Stamps, prescription RXs, Bell/Virgin Mobile, OIL, sports tickets, S&P US NATIONAL HOME PRICE INDEX, J&J products, Chevy, coffee. Trade war increasing prices of everything. How long will this meme continue?

Again?

Deleting account now. Thanks for the head's up!

Perfect it’s Time to cancel

Hey netflix you sure this is a smart play when you’ve only got a couple good originals left that haven’t already played their final season or are canceled? I get the need for more revenue, but you’ve been canceling enough shows we might as well call you Fox.

Quit paying for those stupid comedian shows that are on there now. They are horrible. That’s the only thing they have in there. Besides my kids watching cartoons there’s no other point of having it

I guess I will be canceling my account; after Punisher season 2

soon $30

This you can pay 💰 for with your HUGE GOP realDonaldTrump tax breaks 😩working-class American taxpayers!

It looks as though I am canceling Netflix This because there is nothing new, few foreign films, and much too much crap. I could use the 150 I give netflix a year, on Amazon prime for the shipping. Also there are movie streaming channels that play commercial that can be blocked

Still a lot cheaper than going to the movies

Damnit, I knew Friends would do this.

Gotta pay for those expensive Obama shows. Lol

bdebutera This is the price we pay to share passwords

How much are their executives paid? Capitalism run amok... capitalism breeds greed.

Neh! I'm good with WatchVRV at least I got my money worth watching a bunch of series of Hokuto no Ken. 💕💕💕

Just cancelled my subscription

Remember the 2011 $NFLX slaughter

netflix what kinda bullshit is this

All because we HAD to keep Friends 🙄

Trippin trippin

Good Thing I Have TMobile which offers Netflix free with one of there plans

netflix

They need to make international operations profitable.

Yeah 2 dollars per month ...i suppose 13/18% sounds more dramatic...lol

Thanks a lot.

All that damn money they spent on FRIENDS

These large corporations are going to REKT eventually, Their greed and arrogance is getting way out of hand, same goes for you 🖕

netflix had almost all of my favorite shows and movies. Slowly, they removed ALL of them. They only became useful for stand up. They had my favorite still. NOW, the only comedians they have on are complete leftists who are all on Netflix original shows. Promoting themselves only

Netflix raising prices on the 800,000 workers on the verge of homelessness.

🗣 hulu, here i come

Lol people will jump ship, stocks will take a 3% hit and Netflix will start giving 3 months for 10.99

me: *doesnt pay for netflix* also me :

As the quality of their options goes down. Lovely

That’s because they have to pay artists like rickygervais a truck loads of cash. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to put the magnet back on the electric meter again.

I still love Netflix because there are no commercials and I can download movies onto my phone. I love that popular family and children’s movies are added onto the platform! Better than watching in theaters

“The extra cash” may not doing anything if people drop because of it. Wait and see.

Take my money

I have T-Mobile so I only pay 3 bucks 😜

crystho_21

Who pays for Netflix?

What did you expect they don’t make advertising money just money off subscribers

How about they give me better stuff then raise prices

They thing which never increase is our salary 🙄

make everyone that asked for Friends pay for it

Let's take a poll: How much are you all willing to pay for Netflix per month before you start questioning it's worth?

Might be worth it if the added shows and movies at least once a week instead of once a month if that. I'll stick to hulu

I'm getting close to ditching, but I'll hang in right now. 1 more price hike, I'm out.

I don’t want to watch “friends”, don’t care for “friends” but Netflix went ahead bought the show anyway, now price increase.

Glad I dropped them. They’re not worth that.

Who watches this much TV?

I'm canceling..

I’m about to switch to Hulu lol

Does this mean they will actually start adding decent movies?

This is what y’all get for wanting to keep friends 😢

I Netflix guess acquiring Friends is punishing all of us

Netflix is a bargain but it’s value goes down every time they raise prices. I think I’ll keep Hulu drop Netflix add Disney+ and treat Netflix like I treat Amazon and only add them if/when they add something I really want to see and drop them after I see it.

Welp looks like I’m just gonna pay for HBO go instead of netflix now

BY the eggs America.

AGAIN?!

The price hike doesn’t annoy me as much as the cover art on the titles changing every 12 seconds netflix

_mattschoen_ My Netflix streams horrible! We’ve tried everything to fix it! We don’t have the same issue w/Prime so I’m assuming it’s a Netflix issue. Not sure it’s worth it for us.

Horrible netflix 🤨

13 US is still a deal.

I feel sorry for the 22 people that pay for EVERYONEs Netflix account. Might have to throw my Netflix person a few bucks every month

I’ll happily pay an additional $2 per month. It’s worth it for Ozark alone.

Stop watching Netflix everybody I het they drop that bitch back talking about debt lol

That’s to help cover paying all these comedians $40 Million a show

So to have MORE original shows NETFLIX with this increase, will bring in a BILLION dollars more. goodbyeNETFLIX

All the more reason for people to switch to Hulu. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I guess I'll be downgrading. Streaming option is no longer offering a lot of the shows I liked. Since I have Amazon Prime, I'm better off with the DVD only plan.

Disney is really putting a stronghold on them.

Well we all know the real reason is cuz one person pays and 20 others use

Time to cancel Netflix...

I’d rather toss $13 monthly at them than Comcast, Peacock.

Well this is the easiest way for Netflix to cover its big pile of debt. Was kind of in the air already. It may turn into an issue though if this will result in loss of subscribers!

Don’t think of Netflix as a small monthly cost. Paying $156 a year to watch TV is insane when there are so many free media sources available.

Hi JohnLegere.. Will this affect my TMobile account which includes free netflix?

Cancel my subscription please.

ResistNetflix

To pay the Obamas

Careful now, the only reason I have Netflix is its low price since I rarely see anything worth watching.

Wonderful

😲....😔....😠

About to cancel this shit anyway....

True story: America on Line $AOL used to raise prices too 😉

$2 dollars more...$24 a year...I'm ok with that right now...cheaper than going to the movies once...

TontitoAaron it has begun

Overpaying for content and management, yeah, seems about right.

Personally I don’t have Netflix, used to few times, but is a great service. Don’t have because with the regular channels that I have on cable is enough. But write down, they are going to keep increasing the fees every year. Like internet service only.....

netflix $nflx is over-priced. 2017 rev = 12 bill assuming revenue triples to 36 bill (2023 estimate with 20% of US and UK using it) and margin if 15% (current). = net profit ~ 5 bill per yr 3% div on that metric (good case). share-price should halve. CEO win, investor loss

With such quality offerings, I don't mind.

Worth every penny.

I only watch theofficenbc and a random movie every month or two. I'm ditching netflix

oceanrelics I got out just in time! 😂 Canceled

Gotta pay for that crappy original content somehow.

We can't raise minimum wage, they'll just pass it on to the consumer. Whatever

Ever get the feeling you’ve been had

GingerFritzie TonyRozmenoski wow

Netflix is raising prices in the U.S. Its most popular plan will be $13 per month, up from $11.

I'll pay the increase as long as they stop trying to pass off dubbed European shows as U.S. content.

I will cancel

We now have a stream to cut.

Click bait

Fortunately for me, 13-18% of zero is zero.

Canceled Netflix as soon as I realized their original programming is targeted at dystopian millennials.

Well. That sucks. Guess I'll switch to Prime... oh they suck? Well then take my money Netflix.

Wall Street analysts love Netflix's price increase: 'Pricing wind beneath its wings'Netflix raised prices 13 to 18 percent for the company's 58 million subscribers, and major analysts love the move. Without getting it for free on TMobile I would have canceled netflix last price hike. Waiting for Disney streaming service. I done with some of their mediocre programming and now high prices. Goodbye netflix I left netflix after their last price hike. I’m sure many, many more will leave after this one. The increase should be a catalyst for subscriber growth for PrimeVideo and other competitors.
