Bakery joins Accrington market with permanent stall

A new craft bakery stall has joined a flagship East Lancashire market. Kerry and Rachel Tyrer have brought their expertise to Accrington Market Hall, earmarked for an £11million upgrade.

Co-owner Rachel said: "Every single thing is handmade; everything is rolled out by hand and no two products will be identical. There seems to be something nostalgic about our products.“We have so many people come up to us and say how our products feel homely and rustic – it feels like something a little more special than just any old slice of bread and butter."

“The market will be open as usual throughout the year and so I urge everyone to make a visit – it is so important to support your local traders.”
