SINGAPORE: Mr Kf Seetoh appeared unhappy with a recent report from the Institute of Policy Studies on food prices in different places in SingaporeIn a Facebook post on Thursday , the Makansutra founder, who has long championed hawkers, said that the points raised by the report would end up harming “struggling hawkers and their related supplier’s business and viability” in certain areas around Singapore.
Mr Seetoh posted photos of the ST piece, writing “So, these Intelligent People Say in this Makan Index that prata , in Toa Payoh is cheap and briyani n Milo in Tampines is expensive at $14.90…plus West is cheaper and East is jialat.”“They said $7.50 for chicken chop is expensive. Hey, It is what it is today. Have you checked food costs n rentals lately?”
Seetoh is talking rubbish and trying to defend a finding based on facts. He’s trying to play to the gallery to get attention on his side. When you argue against facts, you are literally lying.
