I tried Apple CEO Tim Cook's 3.45 a.m. wakeup routine. It was a nightmare.

There's a famous cliché that waking up early is the secret to success. But Tim Cook takes that concept to the extreme, waking up at around 3.45 a.m.

The rest of the day went okay. I checked emails, exercised, and completed everything on my to-do list. But I felt extremely sluggish, and it was often difficult to stay motivated.I got out of bed around 3:45 a.m. and questioned everything."This challenge is a terrible idea," I said while trying to stay awake. But despite the urge to go back to sleep, I summoned enough energy to walk over to the kitchen and make another strong coffee.

Call me old-fashioned, but work-life balance is extremely important. I live in Europe, so it's in my DNA to enjoy life at a steady pace. Trying to hustle 24/7 like Tim Cook felt extremely unnatural.

I have never met one single person who wakes up before 6AM and is not successful. You need to find a job which you love. That way, you are looking forward to waking up and continuing your work.

Your article is misleading! You also conveniently left out the little detail of when you go to bed. You won't feel tired if you get into bed at 8-9pm.

i believe Twitter was created to connect people around the world and because you may never know what the future hold onto, by the way my name is Rachel 44 years older a widow with one kid ,i dont mind if you really want us to get to know each other…

try it when your worth several billion, living in multi million house, with staff to tend to your needs,, Bet it's okay ,,

It's not when you wake up but when you go to sleep. The best I have found so far is the dalai lama schedule of going to bed at 1900 akd waking up at 0200.

Apple's Siri too clunky to rival ChatGPT: ex-Apple engineerInsider tells the global tech, finance, markets, media, healthcare, and strategy stories you want to know. Yeah that’s why nobody uses it 🤣 SIRI is just filtered AI , scared of privacy issues because Apple is a Public Company . ChatGPT isnt but once they get bigger , their content will shift to the 'careful' side also Siri and the iPhone keyboard both suck. Great hardware but terrible user experience. I feel like autocomplete has gotten ten times worse over the last six months. They spent $5B on their campus but can’t complete common words nor respect proper names. Pathetic.
