Sullivan's Hardware store has closed early after one of their employees was hit by a stray bullet while working. Police believe the bullet to have been fired after a crash at 71st & Keystone.

INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is responding to a shooting at a gas station on Indy's north side that left a woman shot who was working at a nearby business.

Police say the driver who shot at the uninvolved vehicle then fled the scene. Officers recognized the vehicle and were able to apprehend the vehicle when it returned to the scene. Officers were able to arrest the suspect that came back to the scene. Police believe the gun that was used has been recovered.

Brown proceeded to run his errands, which included a stop at Sullivan's hardware store. There, he learned that one of their employees had been shot by a stray bullet.
