is set to return to the Carteret Performing Arts Center this summer to recognize achievements in the Garden State’s legal weed space.2023 NJ Cannabis Insider Awards Show
“Last year’s inaugural awards show was meant to mark a milestone in the state’s industry as the legal market had just opened,” said Enrique Lavín, publisher and editor of NJ Cannabis Insider, which launched in 2018. “As we mark our fifth anniversary serving the space, we wanted to expand the awards to reflect the growing industry.”
This year, there will be a total of 22 categories recognized at the awards show, which will start at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour then lead into the ceremony in the performing arts center’s main auditorium. The evening will be topped off with a rooftop afterparty, with late night bites, drinks and entertainment.
In addition to the new public voting categories, which are 17 this year, NJ Cannabis Insider added one more Publisher’s Choice Award: Breakout Business of the Year.
Seems a little premature to be handing out awards. NJ cannabis situation is shameful. Absolutely shameful. It's WAY too expensive. There is a huge lack of variety. And no consistency. If you find something that works well, you can guarantee no dispensary will have it again
