Wow, the annual China debt scare hype is a bit early this year. Doesn't the ABC have anything original to report? Ok, I'll make it simple so even the ABC can understand: the debt mentioned is internal, like one family member borrowing from another.

This article is very misleading. The USA and most other developed anglo-sphere nations have a higher debt to GDP if you count public and private debt together (like what this article did for China). I would have thought the ABC would be better in regards to western bias.
