announcing the opening of the store, optimistically pronounced: "San Francisco's massive new Whole Foods set to transform Mid-Market." The story boasted that the 55,000-square-foot store is "expected to become the hub of a neighborhood that has seen an explosion of new housing and tech offices but lacks the conveniences and amenities of an established neighborhood."
Dorsey said it's "heartbreaking" to see that Whole Foods "gave up" on the area, which has also had an exodus of tech workers during the pandemic. Announcing the closure, a spokesperson for Whole Foods said, "to ensure the safety of our team members, we have made the difficult decision to close the Trinity store for the time being" and that "all team members will be transferred to one of our nearby locations."
"I know they had about 250 of those when they opened, and all of them were taken as shop lifting implements," Dorsey said.
I’m glad Whole Foods closed that location. Whole Foods has 8 other locations in San Francisco, which is way too many locations in one city. More police never helps or solves anything.
ok, So, the baskets were stolen. That sucks. 250 of them. Also baskets full of goods? How much $ per basket? I'm guessing they have some idea. What is the homeless population of SF vs the other 20-30-40 largest cities in the country? compare info from other cities, pls
There is no pint adding police if they don’t arrest, which they won’t because there won’t be any prosecutions thanks to the laws that are brining this city down. We get what we voted for
