For thousands around Quinte West and the surrounding region, the movie theatre in downtown Trenton was part of their childhood. Perhaps they saw Star Wars for the first time, or Gone With the Wind, or a grandfather took his grandson to Toy Story. Whatever the backstory, the movie theatre, at the corner of Dundas Street West and Division Street, has been standing since 1935.According to the website Cinema Treasures, it opened in 1935 as the Trent Theatre.It then turned into the Centre Theatre in 1962.The property, which is listed for just under $600,000, will come equipped as well.
