The government is powerless to help with product recalls during the shutdown — and it's leaving consumers at riskConsumer Product Safety Commission has been unable to support companies undergoing product recalls due to the shutdown. Oh no. I'm definitely going to loose some sleep over this one. The government checks less then 1% of the toys on the market anyways, it uses consumer complaints to zero in on dangerous toys and I'm sure those are still rolling in esp. on the stuff from China, so stop scaring the people with headlines.
