Westfield shopping centre “declined advertising” for the Chinese dance company Shen Yun, which is currently touring Australia, says former Liberal Senator Eric Abetz.

“You’ve got to ask yourself, what on earth is the problem with a dance company being able to advertise its performances,” Mr Abetz told Sky News host Amanda Stoker.

“What is so controversial about it … this is about China before communism … as a result, Beijing clearly brings pressure to bear on certain organisations.
