New Wilmer business park will bring 1.5 million square feet of warehouse space to the region's most active industrial construction area.

A Dallas developer has teamed up with a major institutional investor to build a huge business parkThe Southport Logistics Center will have almost 1.5 million square feet of industrial space in two buildings near Interstate 45.

Bandera Ventures — which has a track record of building some of North Texas’ biggest industrial projects — is developing the Wilmer development in partnership with Invesco Real Estate.“The ideal location, adjacent to I-45, will provide easy access and connectivity, optimizing our customers’ production and distribution processes,” Tom Leiser, partner at Bandera Ventures, said in a statement.
