Well, they could buy from Russia and so they have leverage. It’s insanity and no way around it unless somebody decides to end militarism.

Just to be clear government contract are always late in payment but usually within the expected 90 days of due. However, this whole article is made to complain on behalf of the Canadians who may cancel the contract, Saudi would receive compensation including the late 1.8 billion

Then stop doing business with them! Seems simple enough...

Canada’s feminist govt is responsible. Unfortunately they don’t have the courage to cancel the deal and pay the $1bn penalty clause, so we can go somewhere else and buy the same stuff. 😁
