New Jersey’s already hot real estate market is expected to get even more expensive this summer throughout most of the state despite the spike in mortgage interest rates, according to a forecast from Zillow. About 72%, or 396 of ZIP codes analyzed by Zillow, will see their typical home values increase by July, while 113 are expected to see home prices decline.

Zillow had enough data points to calculate and forecast ZIP-code-level home values for more than half of New Jersey’s 981 ZIP codes through June 2023. New Jersey has 565 municipalities.
